Summer Series – July Races

July 9 – Tuesday, Hill Top 5K – Hubbardston State Forest, Mt. Jefferson Rd., Hubbardston, MA. Race starts at 6:30 pm. This race is part of the Summer Series and Trail Series. See results here.

July 16 – Tuesday, Donnelly’s Tavern Run – 43 Summer St., Lunenburg, MA. This is a 5 mile race starting at 7:00 pm. See results here.

July 23 – Tuesday, Burbank 5M Trail Race – 275 Nichols Rd., Fitchburg, MA. Race starts and trails are behind the Health Alliance Hospital with a 6:30 pm starting time.

July 25 – Thursday, Turbine Tune-Up 5K – Narragansett Regional High School, 464 Baldwinville Rd., Templeton, MA. Race starts at 7:00 pm.

July 27 – Saturday, Fresh Pond – Cambridge, MA. There are two distances to choose from, 2.5 or 5 mile. Both races begin at 10 am. Remember to park behind Cambridge Honda to avoid possible parking ticket on Fresh Pond property. This is a race for NMC members only.

July 30 – Wednesday, Lynn Wood – This is a 5.5 miles trail race starting at 6:30 pm. The entrance is at the Great Woods entrance.

Fitchburg Police Association Community 5K Road Race/Walk

On Saturday, June 29, the Fitchburg Police Association Community 5K Road Race/Walk was held in downtown Fitchburg. Congratulations to Mark Jackson for putting on another successful race. Our North Medford Club had a great showing there. Congratulations to all who attended. It was a warm day. Pictures coming soon.

Halloween Race – Oct. 27










Come join the fun. Our annual Halloween race will be held on October 27 at Embers Pizzeria in Lunenburg, MA. For more information and registration see our flyer here.


Track workouts with Coach Jim.

Track workouts are held at the Fitchburg State University’s track on Thursdays beginning at 6:00 pm.  A warmup of at least 15 minute before starting is suggested.  Runners should be running at least 20 miles per week.  Workouts are usually about an hour.
